Ukraine ranks second in the world among the largest debtors of the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

Modern.az reports that, according to the Fund, as of the end of September 2026, Ukraine's debt to the IMF amounted to 14.5 billion dollars.

Argentina remains the IMF's largest debtor. This country's debt to the Fund reaches 56.9 billion.
