Mediators between Iran and the US cannot determine who makes decisions regarding the talks in Washington.

Modern.az reports that a high-ranking source in Iran's security structures told "Tasnim" agency.

According to the source, this uncertainty causes stagnation in the negotiation process.

"It is completely unclear in the US ruling circles who exactly has this authority, J.D. Vance, Steve Witkoff, Marco Rubio, or Jared Kushner," the source noted.
