More than 300,000 foreign citizens' visas have been canceled during US President Donald Trump's second term.

State Department spokesman Tommy Pigott said the visa cancellations applied to individuals alleged to have violated the law, committed fraud, or posed a threat to the country's national security.
According to him, the US authorities will continue measures in this direction to strengthen control in the field of migration and ensure the country's security.
According to the information, the number of canceled visas exceeded 175,000 in August of this year. The latest announced figure is more than 300,000.
The Trump administration has also tightened the rules for checking visa applications.
At the same time, human rights defenders criticize some new control measures, including checking the social media activity of visa holders.
