Russian President Vladimir Putin intends to discuss a possible meeting with US leader Donald Trump in China. He spoke about this during his meeting with US President's special envoy Steve Witkoff.
Modern.az reports that TASS has disseminated information about this.
Putin stated that, in addition to resolving the crises in Ukraine and the Persian Gulf, he also wants to share some of his thoughts with Witkoff regarding a possible meeting with Trump in the People's Republic of China.
“These issues and other topics can undoubtedly form the basis of our exchange of views today. This also includes a possible meeting in the People's Republic of China. I also have some thoughts on this matter that I would like to share with you,” Putin addressed Witkoff.
It should be noted that, in addition to Putin and Trump, the possibility of a trilateral meeting with Chinese leader Xi Jinping within the framework of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit to be held in China next month is also being discussed. However, no final agreement has yet been reached on such a meeting
