French President Emmanuel Macron unexpectedly arrived in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, as part of his visit to the Persian Gulf countries.

Modern.az reports that Macron became the first Western leader to visit the kingdom amid attacks by Yemen's Houthi rebels.
