British Prime Minister Andy Burnham has called on the public to be prepared for possible emergencies, keeping canned food and bottled drinking water supplies in their homes.
Modern.az reports that the Prime Minister stated that unexpected events are occurring more and more frequently against the backdrop of strong storms observed in the country and interruptions in internet services due to a serious cybersecurity vulnerability. According to the recommendations prepared by the government, citizens are advised to keep at least a three-day supply of drinking water and canned food in their homes in preparation for emergencies such as war, cyberattack, or natural disaster.
“This is not about panicking. The goal is to take reasonable measures in advance to meet one's needs for a certain period of time if a difficult situation arises,” the Prime Minister emphasized.
