The number of Azerbaijani pilgrims who went to Mecca for the Hajj pilgrimage in 2026 is 1150.
Vusal Jahangiri, head of the Foreign Relations Department of the Caucasus Muslims Office (CMO) and head of the Hajj electronic system, told Modern.az about this.
Today, Sheikhulislam Allahshukur Pashazade, chairman of the Caucasus Muslims Office, stated in his statement after the holiday prayer at the Tezepir mosque that Azerbaijani pilgrims have already visited the mountains of Mina and Arafat and received the title of Hajj.
"Today, the pilgrims will sacrifice their animals," he said.
It should be noted that the price of a single package for the 2026 Hajj pilgrimage was set at 6100 US dollars, which is approximately 10,388 manats. The package included flight, accommodation, transportation, and pilgrimage services.
