Trump: Israel should not worry, I will take care of it

US President Donald Trump said that Israel should not worry amid recent tensions in the region.

Modern.az reports that Trump spoke about this in a phone interview with Israel's KAN public broadcaster.

“Israel should not worry. You know why? Because I am president and I will take care of Israel,” the US leader said.

Trump's statement comes at a time when military tensions between the US and Iran have escalated again. The US President also said that he does not think the current confrontation with Iran will last long.
