Starting from approximately 22:00 on October 13, 2026, cyberattack activities against the state information infrastructures of the Republic of Azerbaijan were recorded.
Modern.az reports that the attack was carried out by a foreign hacker group, targeting more than 100 government domains within the state information infrastructures of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
As a result of the cyberattack, interruptions occurred in the operation of internet information resources of several government agencies. Due to the relevant technical measures taken, the effects of the cyberattack were limited, and the continuity of the websites' operation was ensured.
Currently, the Service continues its measures to ensure cybersecurity.
