Russia has not yet received any official request to participate in the TRIPP project.
Modern.az reports that Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated this in a statement to journalists following his visit to Azerbaijan.
According to him, Moscow's capabilities and readiness to participate in infrastructure projects implemented in the region are known to all interested parties.
“We have not yet received any request regarding participation in the TRIPP project. However, Russia's capabilities and readiness to participate in infrastructure projects are known to everyone,” Lavrov emphasized.
It should be noted that TRIPP (“Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity”) envisages the creation of a transport connection between the main part of Azerbaijan and the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic through the territory of Armenia.
