"The Republic of Armenia is entering the implementation phase of the TRIPP (Trump's International Peace and Prosperity Road) project."
Modern.az reports that Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this in parliament.
"Despite the complex international situation, we are pleased to announce that the governments of the United States of America, the Republic of Armenia, and the Republic of Azerbaijan consider the restoration of regional communications and the implementation of the TRIPP project as a priority task," the Prime Minister emphasized.
Nikol Pashinyan said that this approach stems from the understanding that the implementation of the project will become an important pillar of long-term, stable, and reliable peace in the region.
Pashinyan added that "a peace with strong legal foundations has been established between Armenia and Azerbaijan."
"This peace has mandatory legal force. In this case, I mean the regulation on the joint activities of the commissions on delimitation," the head of government said.
According to Pashinyan, the fact that the school in Kirants village of Tavush province is located only 50 meters from the Azerbaijani border no longer frightens the students of that school.
"At the same time, they play football 30 meters from the border. Look, this is peace," the Prime Minister emphasized.
