Lithuania, Poland and France will hold joint military exercises called "Brave Boar" in the Suwalki corridor region on June 16-26.
Modern.az reports that the press service of the Lithuanian Ministry of Defense spread information about this.
According to the information, the exercises will be organized in the Suwalki corridor, which is located on the border of Lithuania and Poland and is of strategic importance. Units of the armed forces of the three countries will participate in the maneuvers.
The purpose of the exercises is to strengthen interoperability between allied forces, increase defense readiness and practice various operational scenarios.
It should be noted that the Suwalki corridor is considered an area of strategic importance for NATO. This strip connects Poland and Lithuania, and is also located between Russia's Kaliningrad region and Belarus.
