British tanker attacked in Strait of Hormuz

A British tanker has been attacked in the Strait of Hormuz.

Modern.az reports that the UK Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) released information about this. It is reported that the incident occurred on August 29, 22 kilometers north of Khasab, Oman, as the ship was moving towards the Gulf.

UKMTO's statement says that the tanker was hit by an unknown projectile while passing through the strait. According to preliminary information, no injuries or serious damage were recorded as a result of the incident.
