Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov claimed that Nazism is spreading in Europe, especially in Ukraine.
Modern.az reports that Lavrov said this during his meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
"Our great ancestors defeated Nazism, but now its metastases are spreading throughout Europe. In Ukraine, it is reviving that anti-human ideology in a concentrated form," Lavrov said.
The head of the Russian Foreign Ministry added that most of the people he communicates with consider Russia's "special military operation" in Ukraine as the next task related to preventing Nazism.
Speaking about the situation of Russian-speaking residents of Ukraine, Lavrov said that Russia is doing everything necessary to restore their rights.
