American supermodel Cindy Crawford's son, Presley Gerber, has passed away.
Modern.az reports that US media announced the death of the 27-year-old model.
According to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's office, Presley Gerber died on September 20 at a rehabilitation center. The cause of his death has not yet been disclosed, and the autopsy process has not been completed.
Cindy Crawford, her husband Rande Gerber, and their daughter, model and actress Kaia Gerber, confirmed Presley's death in a statement released on behalf of the family.
Presley Gerber, like his mother and sister, worked as a model. He began his career in fashion as a teenager, signing a contract with IMG Models at the age of 15. He later collaborated with famous brands such as “Moschino”, “Dolce & Gabbana”, “Calvin Klein” and “Celine”.
In recent years, Presley openly discussed his struggles with mental health and addiction. He shared videos on social media about this topic, recounting his experiences.
In January 2019, Presley was arrested for driving under the influence. He was later sentenced to three years of probation, required to participate in a special driving program, and perform community service.
Presley's sister, Kaia Gerber, also recently spoke about her brother's long-standing battle with addiction in an interview with “Vogue” magazine.
