Moroccan King Mohammed VI has appointed 50-year-old lawyer and politician Fatima-Zahra El-Mansouri as the country's Prime Minister.
Modern.az reports with reference to foreign media that El-Mansouri has become the first woman in the history of the kingdom to head the executive power.
The appointment took place after the centrist Authenticity and Modernity Party won the parliamentary elections in Morocco. The political force led by El-Mansouri won the most parliamentary seats in the elections.
