Iran has stated that it is ready to take reciprocal steps towards normalizing relations if the US meets Tehran's demands.
Modern.az reports that this was stated by Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi in an interview with RIA Novosti.
“Of course, they know what conditions and demands must be met. As soon as these conditions and demands are met, the Islamic Republic of Iran will, in turn, take the necessary steps,” the diplomat noted.
It should be noted that the Iranian Foreign Ministry previously announced that it had submitted a seven-day plan to the US regarding the opening of the Strait of Hormuz. The proposal was put forward in exchange for the lifting of the naval blockade and export restrictions. US President Donald Trump rejected this proposal.
