Two people have died and 21 have been injured as a result of missile strikes by the Russian army on the Ukrainian capital Kyiv.
Modern.az reports that “Reuters” agency spread information about this, citing Ukrainian officials.
It was stated that during the attack carried out on October 13, a residential building was damaged, and the city's energy infrastructure was also targeted.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that one of the main targets of the attacks was a thermal power plant.
Zelensky also noted that no prior warning was received from allies regarding possible missile attacks.
Rescuers and ambulance crews were called to the scene.
It should be noted that attacks on Ukraine's energy facilities increase concerns about the security of electricity and heat supply in the country.
