The US Department of Energy has submitted a list of companies interested in importing diesel fuel from Russia to the Russian side. Modern.az reports that Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said this while commenting on the negotiations between Moscow and Washington on the supply of diesel fuel.
According to Kommersant, the parties are already discussing commercial terms and contracts for fuel supply.
“Very intensive work is being carried out with our American colleagues,” Novak said in an interview with the “Vesti” program.
The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that Russia is one of the world's largest suppliers of diesel fuel. According to him, earlier Russian products accounted for about 10 percent of the world market.
Novak previously stated that Russia could increase diesel fuel exports to 3-3.5 million tons per month by the end of 2026. This will allow the country's share in the world market to exceed 10 percent.
