A nationwide protest of the "No Kings" movement, which opposes the policies of President Donald Trump, was held in the United States.
Modern.az reports that the organizers announced that more than 3,000 events were organized in all 50 states.
The main goal of the actions was to mobilize voters on the eve of the interim elections to Congress.
The protest campaign was held close to the vote scheduled for November 3. The demonstrators called on Americans to use the opportunities provided by the legislation to vote before the main day of the elections.
Demonstrations were held in major cities of the country such as New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia and Atlanta. Participants raised posters against the current president's policies and chanted slogans supporting democratic institutions. The total number of participants in the protests is not yet known.
