On February 4, 2026, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Government of Azerbaijan and the Government of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) within the framework of the World Governments Summit.
Modern.az reports that the document was signed by Ulvi Mehdiyev, Chairman of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and Mariam Al Hammadi, UAE Minister of State and Secretary-General of the Cabinet.
The purpose is to expand cooperation in the provision of public services, develop governance and institutional capabilities, and implement joint projects in relevant areas.
At the same time, within the framework of the document's implementation, it is planned to conduct an exchange of experience on the application of innovations in the provision of public services.
