Anna Akopyan called on people to vote for Pashinyan in the upcoming parliamentary elections, despite the breakdown of her relationship with him.
Modern.az reports that, according to the "Iravunk" newspaper, she openly stated to her close circle that she supports Pashinyan's re-election and advised her inner circle to do the same.
"Let our relationship with Pashinyan not affect your attitude towards him. I will fulfill my civic duty and unequivocally vote for the current prime minister," she said.
It should be recalled that in February of this year, Anna Akopyan announced on social media that she and Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, with whom she had lived in a civil marriage for many years, had decided to separate. The couple has 4 children (3 daughters, 1 son) from this relationship.
Parliamentary elections in Armenia will be held on June 7.
