Former Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan may return to Azerbaijan.
Modern.az reports that he gave an emotional statement while answering a question from local media. Sargsyan reacted harshly to the journalist's question, "You are not participating in the elections, but your name still worries many."
"What should I do? Where should I go, to Karabakh?" he said.
Sargsyan, who appeared before the Anti-Corruption Court regarding the next criminal case, finally noted, "Unfortunately, there is nowhere else for me to go."
It should be recalled that Serzh Sargsyan was born on June 30, 1954, in Khankendi, Azerbaijan. He was one of the leaders of the separatist movement against Azerbaijan in Karabakh in the late 1980s. Serzh Sargsyan served as the President of Armenia for 2 terms between 2008 and 2018.
