Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said he hopes to visit Azerbaijan to attend the European Political Community Summit in 2028.
Modern.az reports that he stated this during his speech at the European Political Community Summit.
The Prime Minister recalled that Armenia and Azerbaijan mutually supported each other's candidacies for hosting future summits:
"I hope that I will have the opportunity to visit Azerbaijan to participate in the European Political Community Summit in 2028."
Pashinyan added that the European Political Community platform played an important role in establishing contacts between Armenia and Turkey:
"My first bilateral meeting with the President of Turkey took place in the fall of 2022 within the framework of the first European Political Community Summit in Prague. The participation of Turkish Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz in the summit in Yerevan was also an important event. I emphasize that Cevdet Yılmaz is the first Turkish Vice President to visit Armenia."
