The Armenian authorities have sent a strong message regarding possible election interference from Russia.
Modern.az reports that Ruben Rubinyan, Vice-Speaker of the Armenian Parliament, made a statement about this.
He stated that individuals arriving in Armenia from Russia for the purpose of bribing voters are already being detained.
"Individuals arriving from Russia in connection with election fraud or voter bribery are already being detained and will spend the next 7 years in prison," Rubinyan said.
