The Armenian Commission for the Prevention of Corruption has opened a new criminal case against Samvel Karapetyan, the leader of the "Strong Armenia" party.
Modern.az reports, citing Armenian media, that the commission has released information about this.
It was noted that the chairman of the "Strong Armenia" party did not submit a declaration about his assets and income.
It should be recalled that Samvel Karapetyan was arrested in Armenia in June 2025. He was accused of making open calls for the violent seizure of power in Armenia. He is currently under house arrest.
