Version 12.9 of the "Telegram" messenger has been released.
Modern.az reports with reference to foreign media that the update introduces an expanded text editor, a communities system, and new functions for managing group chats.
One of the main innovations of the new version is the improved text editor. Users will now be able to create posts in article format using headings, tables, numbered and bulleted lists, quotes, as well as code blocks. In addition, it will be possible to embed photos and videos anywhere in the text.
The updated editor supports texts up to 32,768 characters. "Cocoon" artificial intelligence tools have also been integrated for creating and editing texts. Currently, these functions are only available to "Telegram Premium" subscribers.
Along with the update, a communities function has been added to the messenger, allowing several groups, channels, and bots to be combined into a single thematic space. This feature allows users to switch more easily between related chats.
In addition, the disappearing messages function has been introduced in group chats. This function allows messages to be automatically deleted after a specified time.
