Russia and Azerbaijan are moving towards fully realizing the potential of the Moscow Declaration on Allied Interaction.
Modern.az reports that Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said this during his meeting with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov.
Lavrov stated that continuous contacts between the two countries at various levels, including between heads of state, allow for the full realization of the potential of the Declaration on Allied Interaction between Russia and Azerbaijan.
The head of the Russian Foreign Ministry noted that the dialogue between the foreign ministries of the two countries further strengthens regular contacts between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, as well as at the level of governments, ministries and other state bodies, and parliaments.
“All this shows that, although certain difficulties arise from time to time – this is inevitable in life – we are moving towards fully realizing the potential of the Moscow Declaration signed on February 22, 2022,” Lavrov said.
He also drew attention to the date the Declaration was signed: “By the way, the date is also interesting – 22.02.2022.”
Lavrov expressed satisfaction that Russia is hosting the Azerbaijani delegation in Moscow and continuing the dialogue at the level of the foreign ministers of the two countries.
