New claims have emerged that the iPhone Fold, considered Apple's first foldable smartphone, will be introduced in September 2026.
Modern.az reports that the difficulties experienced in the production process have already been resolved and no delay is expected in the presentation date of the device.
Fixed Focus Digital, who shares on China's Weibo platform and is known for Apple leaks, stated that there was never an official delay in the iPhone Fold project. According to him, problems only arose in the initial production phase, during the transition from a small test batch to mass production.
According to the information, although it was difficult to increase the production volume at first, these obstacles have now been overcome. The author of the leak also notes that no significant changes were made to the design or main construction of the device during this process. Fixed Focus Digital claims that the final model to be released will be almost identical to the version Apple planned for early 2026. He even stated that the device will be disassembled and analyzed in the future, which will confirm what he said.
This claim also coincides with information recently leaked from the supply chain. These reports stated that companies producing components for the iPhone Fold are continuing production as planned and have not been informed of any significant delays.
