Pezeshkian: A permanent cooperation format should be created between Iran and the CIS

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has proposed the creation of a permanent cooperation format between his country and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).

Modern.az reports that the Iranian President stated that he envisions this format as a flexible and effective mechanism for dialogue and cooperation.

“Iran proposes to create a flexible and effective mechanism for dialogue and cooperation in the format of ‘CIS countries plus Iran’ or ‘CIS+1’,” Pezeshkian noted.
