There will be no ceasefire that will allow Zelensky to rearm.
Modern.az reports that Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said this at a press conference in Baku.
Lavrov noted that he called Zelensky's decision to continue strikes on Russian oil refineries "a direct and obvious challenge" to US President Donald Trump.
He stated that Zelensky openly said that he was not interested in elections and deliberately put forward unacceptable conditions.
The Foreign Minister added that Russia has not received official proposals for a new US-European peace plan: "Moscow sees no basis for a long-term settlement in the ideas published by Western media. The goals of the special military operation and Russia's position on the Ukrainian conflict remain unchanged."
