Russian President Vladimir Putin, who is on a visit to Kazakhstan, was once again confused.
Modern.az reports that Putin was unable to correctly pronounce the name and patronymic of Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev while thanking him. Putin's slip of the tongue was reflected in a video released from the scene. The Kremlin leader made a mistake in a situation where dozens of cameras recorded his every move and every word.
In the broadcast, a new version of the name, which Putin mostly could not pronounce correctly, was heard. This time, he surprised everyone by addressing Kassym-Jomart Tokayev as "dear Sargan Kemelevich".
