Alina Habba, former personal lawyer to US President Donald Trump and interim federal prosecutor for New Jersey, has married Turkish billionaire Turhan Mildon.
Modern.az reports that the lavish wedding ceremony of 42-year-old Habba and 29-year-old businessman was held on Saturday at New York's famous Waldorf Astoria hotel, attended by numerous celebrities.
Turhan Mildon is the CEO of Miller Holding, a large international Turkish conglomerate founded by his grandfather in 1967.
The wedding ceremony took place in the ballroom on the fourth floor of the Waldorf Astoria. The hall was decorated with compositions made of pink and white sakura flowers and hundreds of red roses.
According to one of the famous event organizers, at least 1 million dollars were spent only on hall rental, music, and floral decorations. This amount does not include hotel rooms for guests and the rental of other hotel venues.
It was later reported that the total cost of the wedding could be approximately 10 million dollars. Approximately 900,000 fresh flowers brought from various countries around the world were used for the decoration of the ceremony.
An orchestra of 30 musicians performed at the wedding. For the couple's first dance, a singer was specially invited from France, who performed the song Heir Encore.
A rich menu was also prepared for the guests. During dinner, each guest was first presented with a separate jar of caviar.
A number of prominent figures from Trump's inner circle also attended the wedding. Among them were FBI Director Kash Patel, US Attorney General Todd Blanche, presidential advisor and special assistant Margo Martin, as well as Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights Harmit Dillon.
Legendary boxer Mike Tyson was also invited to the ceremony. At the private party held after the wedding, triple Grammy Award winner, rapper Nelly performed for the newlyweds.
US President Donald Trump himself did not attend the ceremony.
Habba, Trump's former personal lawyer, wore three different wedding dresses on her wedding day.
A few hours before the ceremony, her two children – daughter Chloe and son Luke – were seen in the lobby of the Waldorf Astoria hotel accompanied by a hotel employee.
The bride's pre-wedding appearance attracted attention with its luxury. Last week, Habba and Mildon were photographed in front of the expensive Polo Room restaurant in West Palm Beach. The 42-year-old woman had a large diamond engagement ring on her finger, estimated to be at least 23 carats. Her look was completed by a pink Hermès Birkin bag made of ostrich leather, worth approximately 30,000 dollars.
According to media reports, the future spouses met earlier this year at an event at the Kennedy Center in Washington. They made their first public appearance together in April. This was the White House Correspondents' Association dinner, which was prematurely halted after an armed person attempted to enter the building.
This is Habba's third marriage. Her first husband was lawyer Matthew Ayyet. The couple divorced in 2019. He is also the father of Habba's two children.
Later, Habba married businessman Gregg Ruben, owner of a company related to the parking business. This relationship also ended in divorce. Their relationship ended after Habba resigned as head of the federal prosecutor's office for New Jersey in December last year.
