Italy has announced that it has ended its military presence in Iraq.
Modern.az reports that the country's Ministry of Defense announced this on its "X" account. It was stated that the last soldiers involved in the removal of military equipment and other equipment have also returned to the country.
The Ministry thanked the soldiers who served in Iraq for the last 12 years: "They performed their duties professionally, with a sense of dedication and responsibility."
