A satirical statue depicting US President Donald Trump naked and golden in color has been displayed in the European Parliament building in Strasbourg.
Modern.az reports that the work, authored by Danish artist Jens Galschiøt, is called “Orange Plague”. The statue is also presented under the name “King of Injustice”.
In the composition, which is approximately 2.5 meters high, Donald Trump is depicted naked, sitting on a man's shoulders and holding a long golf club. The work is made of copper and covered with a 23-carat gold layer. According to the author, the work is a satirical approach to Trump's policies, especially his attitude towards combating climate change and his use of force in international relations.
The exhibition of the statue in the European Parliament was organized at the initiative of Danish MP Per Klaussen. The exhibition is said to continue until October 8.
