The US Embassy in Saudi Arabia has issued a security alert in the country.
Modern.az reports that the diplomatic mission called on American citizens to be vigilant amid the risk of drone and missile strikes, as well as open threats by Houthis to Saudi Arabian airports and airspace.
According to the information, US government employees are prohibited from traveling to areas near the Saudi Arabia-Yemen border for security reasons.
American citizens have also been advised not to approach the border zone with Yemen.
