Three people have died and 36 injured in attacks on two international airports in Saudi Arabia.
Modern.az reports that the kingdom's General Authority of Civil Aviation issued a statement on the matter.
According to the information, Abha and King Khalid airports have been hit in the last two days.
"As a result of the attack on Abha International Airport, two women - citizens of Morocco and Algeria - died, and 28 people were injured. During the strike on King Khalid Airport in Riyadh, one Sudanese citizen died and eight people were injured," the statement said.
It was noted that among the injured are citizens of Saudi Arabia, Bangladesh, the Philippines, Pakistan and Egypt. All of them were hospitalized.
Material damage to the facilities is being assessed, and measures are being taken to ensure the safety of passengers and personnel.
