No agreement has yet been reached on a telephone conversation between Russian and US Presidents Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump.
Modern.az reports that this was stated by Russian President's press secretary Dmitry Peskov in a statement to TASS.
Peskov answered a question about whether the phone conversation had already been agreed upon and when it could take place: “Not at the moment. We will inform you.”
It should be noted that yesterday - on Vladimir Putin's birthday - Donald Trump announced that a phone conversation with the Russian president was being prepared.
The Kremlin had previously stated that if an initiative came from the US side, it would be possible to quickly agree on a phone conversation between the presidents.
Since the beginning of this year, Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump have had a total of 5 phone conversations. The last phone conversation took place on September 8.
