Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi claimed that his country's armed forces destroyed 81 US military aircraft.

According to the minister, the US Congressional Research Service admitted in May that Iran destroyed 42 American military aircraft. Araqchi claimed that the number has now reached 81, and the real losses are even higher.
He also claimed that the US Central Command (CENTCOM) did not allow an active senator to inspect bases where the situation was reported to be in order.
"You can fool all people for a certain period...", Araqchi noted.
