The Russian leader stated that relations between the countries are developing in a positive direction. According to him, the situation in the Middle East is currently the most difficult problem. Moscow is ready to do everything in its power to help Tehran in resolving this issue.
Putin and Pezeshkian also discussed the trade turnover between the countries. They noted that this indicator increased by more than 21 percent based on the results of last year.
Also, the Russian President asked his Iranian counterpart to convey his best wishes to Iran's Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei.
