Hungary does not intend to provide military assistance to Ukraine. The transit of weapons through the country's territory will also not be allowed.
Modern.az reports that Hungarian Prime Minister Peter Magyar stated this in an interview with the Finnish newspaper “Helsingin Sanomat”.
Magyar emphasized that Budapest's position does not include the supply of weapons to Ukraine and the transit of weapons through Hungarian territory.
The Prime Minister also stated at the NATO summit in Ankara in July that Hungary's new government would continue to provide humanitarian aid to Ukraine, but would not provide weapons.
