Since the beginning of the naval blockade, the US Navy has seized 94 Iranian-linked merchant ships going to or from Iranian ports.
Modern.az reports that this was stated in the information of the US Central Command (CENTCOM) in the Middle East.
"As of May 21, Central Command forces have directed 94 merchant ships and disabled four, imposing a blockade to prevent the flow of cargo to Iranian ports," the statement said.
According to the information, Iran's naval blockade is being implemented continuously. Currently, more than 20 US warships are participating in the operation, including two aircraft carriers patrolling the Arabian Sea, three large amphibious ships carrying marines, guided missile destroyers and coastal combat ships, as well as approximately 100 fighter jets, helicopters and tanker aircraft.
