The Azerbaijani state gave 700 manats to each of them

Last year, 46 Azerbaijani women were sexually exploited in Turkey, UAE and Pakistan.

Modern.az reports that this was noted in the annual report of the National Coordinator for Combating Human Trafficking, which was discussed at today's meeting of the Milli Majlis.

Thus, all 46 identified victims of human trafficking in the reporting year were citizens of Azerbaijan, and all of them were women.

The document states that 33 of the victims were sexually exploited in Turkey, 10 in the United Arab Emirates, and 3 in Pakistan.

The report also emphasized that the number of human trafficking victims decreased by 45 people compared to the previous year.

It was reported that 4 of the victims were between 18-25 years old, 28 were between 25-35 years old, and 14 were over 35 years old.  

Also, necessary measures were taken for the rehabilitation and reintegration of the victims, and a one-time allowance of 700 manats was paid to each of them. All of them were placed in the relevant shelter of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and provided with medical (HIV, AIDS, STIs, gynecological, therapeutic), social, psychological, legal assistance and necessary clothing. 

Another 16 victims were directed to vocational courses, 9 victims were provided with jobs, 6 with identity cards, 1 victim received treatment in a medical institution and 11 victims received targeted social assistance, and 23 victims were helped to return to their families.
