It is proposed to change the names of some territorial units of Guba region.
Modern.az reports that the issue was reflected in the draft law "On changing the names of some territorial units of Guba region", which was discussed at today's plenary session of the Milli Majlis.
Thus, according to the project, the name of Vladimirovka village within Vladimirovka village administrative territorial district is changed to Elbir village, and that administrative territorial district is considered Elbir village administrative territorial district.
At the same time, the name of Alekseyevka village within Alekseyevka village administrative territorial district is changed to Chinarlı village, and the name of Timiryazev village is changed to Bəhrəli village, and Alekseyevka village administrative territorial district is considered Chinarlı village administrative territorial district.
