More than three-quarters of respondents reported that the economic situation was bad: 77 percent called the situation bad, whereas last month this figure was 73 percent, and a year ago it was 71 percent.
The number of those who disapprove of Trump's economic policies also sharply increased from 56% a year ago to 71%. The president's overall rating continues to decline, with 61% of Americans saying they disapprove of his performance.
