Two individuals, presented by Iranian authorities as members of a "secret separatist terrorist organization," have been executed.
Modern.az reports, citing foreign media, that the individuals in question are Ramin Zaleh and Karim Maarofpur. The Iranian side accused them of forming an armed group aimed at undermining the country's security, preparing an armed uprising, and planning terrorist acts in the interests of a separatist organization.
It is reported that after the case was investigated in court instances and the verdict was upheld by the Iranian Supreme Court, the death sentence issued against the accused was carried out.
