Modern.az reports with reference to foreign media that this was stated by the Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf.
Ghalibaf emphasized these words during an official meeting with the Commander of the Pakistan Army, General Asim Munir.
During the meeting, the increasing military-political tension in the region, security issues, and opportunities for bilateral military cooperation were discussed. The Speaker of the Iranian Parliament noted that his country will demonstrate a resolute stance against foreign pressures and will not back down in protecting national interests.
