SOCAR will be the "Main Global Energy Sponsor" of the Italian men's and women's national football teams.
Modern.az reports that, according to SOCAR, this is reflected in the Strategic Cooperation Agreement signed between the company and the Italian Football Federation.
The signing took place on September 26 within the framework of the Second Azerbaijan International Investment Forum, organized under the patronage of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev.
According to the document, SOCAR will be the "Main Global Energy Sponsor" of the Italian men's and women's national football teams for a period of four years, from January 1, 2027, to December 31, 2030. The partnership also provides for the possibility of an additional two-year extension until 2032.
It was noted that this partnership is an indicator of SOCAR's commitment to long-term operations in Italy, as well as demonstrating the company's intention to contribute to the future development of Italian football, which is known worldwide for its traditions and achievements.
