The tournament organized at the Water Sports Palace by the Azerbaijan Swimming Federation (ASF) with the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports (MYS) has concluded.
Modern.az reports that Azerbaijani representative Anastasiya Gnusina was among those who distinguished themselves in the final session. She renewed the Azerbaijani record in the 200-meter backstroke event (2:20.68).

Athletes who distinguished themselves based on the points principle in the Baku stage of "The Silk Road Tour" World Cup were awarded medals. The awarding ceremony was attended by Craig Hunter, Chairman of the Technical Committee for Swimming of the World Aquatics Federation, Oktay Atayev, Secretary General of the Azerbaijan Swimming Federation, and Rashad Abdurahmanov, Advisor to the Azerbaijan Swimming Federation.
Yegor Kornev, who collected the highest points among men, won the gold medal. Luke Barr took second place. Pieter Coetze won the bronze medal.
Marrit Steenbergen, who topped the women's ranking table, was awarded the gold medal. Roos Vanotterdijk won silver, and Anna Peplowski won bronze.
It should be noted that after Baku, the next stage of "The Silk Road Tour" World Cup will be organized in Tashkent on October 8-10.
