Chinese leader Xi Jinping and US President Donald Trump have agreed that Iran must abide by its commitment not to develop nuclear weapons.
Modern.az reports that this was stated in a joint statement issued on the results of Xi Jinping's state visit to the US. The information was published by "Xinhua".
The leaders of the two countries also agreed that no state or organization has the right to collect transit fees for the passage of ships through international waterways.
During his three-day visit to the US, Xi Jinping held extensive discussions with Donald Trump on bilateral relations. Key international and regional issues were also discussed at the meetings.
The joint statement was released after the Chinese leader concluded his visit to the US on Friday.
